NCEA Level 3 Physics (Climate)
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr J. Watson
This course does not teach or assess the Electrical systems externally assessed standard which the standard Level 3 course does; instead students will learn about aspects of Physics relating to climate change and write an informed response as a report.
This course would suit students who would prefer to have a course less weighted towards external examination (two externals as opposed to three) and those more interested in environmental aspects of physics. There will also be a field trip relating to the climate change topic.
This course would NOT be suitable for those intending to study Engineering, Medicine or Veterinary studies.
